Medical Supplies ULTRASOUND GEL - At ACP, we believe in providing the best product available. Our search for a quality Ultrasound Gel was a difficult one. Due to the effective heating capabilities of our Omnisound 3000, we had to find a gel that was resistant to liquefying from the heat of the sound head, body heat and the salts in perspiration. This gel has been tested rigorously and met our standards. Like our electrodes, the cost may be a bit more, but it is worth the extra cost. The product quality helps maintain consistency throughout procedures that otherwise is unavailable with cheaper gels. 3.45 4.93
Electrotherapy Self-Adhesive Pre-Gelled TENS Unit Electrodes The Self-Adhesive Pre-Gelled TENS Unit Electrodes are replacement electrode pads for use with most TENS Units and Electronic Muscle Stimulators. The Self-Adhesive Pre-Gelled TENS Unit Electrodes can be used approximately 3-5 times before they begin losing their adhesiveness. To provide better adhesive support we recommend our It Stays Roll-on Body Adhesive (a19050). TENS Unites are a set of electrodes which are placed on the skin on your back and it emits an electrical signal which stimulate your neurons through the skin. The sensation is more like the tingling and numbness of your jaw after dental work than like pain. Tens Unit Electrodes Directions for Use: Application: Clean skin thoroughly prior to each application of electrodes. Electrodes do not stick well if any lotion, oil, make-up, dirt, etc. is left on skin. Insert the pins of the lead wire from the device into the electrode wire connectors. Remove the electrodes from the protective liner and apply firmly to the skin. Adhesion improves when electrodes reach skin temperature. Helpful hint: Always moisten skin with a damp cloth with water prior to applying electrodes. This will improve the electrode adhesion and life. Removal: Lift at the edge of electrodes and peel. Do not pull on the lead wires when removing electrodes from the release liner or skin. You may damage the electrodes if you do so. Place the electrodes on the liner and remove the lead wire by twisting and pulling at the same time. Care and storage: Between uses, store the electreodes in the resealable bag in a cool, dry place. The life of the electroedes varies depending on skin condition, storage, amount of use, type of satimulation, and stimulation site. Electrode life may be extended by carefully following the application instruction above. Important: The electrodes are intended for single patient use only. Do not apply to broken skin. Should skin rash occur, discontinue use a
