Karaya 5 seal rings have unique chemical properties that help prevent the growth organisms that could be damaging to the skin. Karaya 5 seal rings are also slightly convex (approx. 2mm) and help fill in around stomas that are flush, recessed or retracted. Karaya 5 barriers are flexible andcan be stretched into various shapes. A tape border is necessary, as Karaya is only mildly adhesive. Choose from paper, occlusive and porous cloth tape. All Karaya pouches are presized with a round skin barrier opening. Karaya One-Piece ostomy products have an odor-barrier Rustle-free pouches. You can safely wear Karaya 5 ostomy products whilte bathing or swimming..
